This program provides students with comprehensive overview of the fashion industry, including product development, sourcing, buying, marketing, retailing and merchandising. Students will learn the core principle of draping by constructing corset dress and jackets etc.

Students will develop an individual collection to showcase their unique philosophy and design strengths. Technical proficiency and professional presentation will be emphasized in 2D and 3D Portfolio presentation.

The completion of the three-year course enables you to work as a Designer, Visual Merchandiser, Visual Artist, Production Designer, Pattern Coordinator and Editor.

Couture Tailoring


In this subject the students will be introduced to couture art and expression of fine soft dressmaking with an understanding of high end draping.

Creative Embroideries and Embellishments


It is very important for a fashion designer to have good understanding of embroidery, embellishment and manipulation techniques from around the globe, helping them to create innovative and contemporary textiles.

Decorative Fabrics & Materials


The aim of the subject is to provide knowledge about different decorative fabrics, materials and techniques used for making garments. Also about the fabrics & techniques that are used by various designers for Couture Tailoring.

Fashion Concept and Design Development


Fashion Concept & Design Development introduces the students to the complete preliminaries of portfolio development step by step. The course aims to teach all skills and knowledge that go into making of a professional designer.

Retail Marketing and Visual Merchandising


The aim of the subject is to enable students to appreciate the unique aspects and concepts of marketing, retail marketing and visual merchandising. It focuses attention on apparel business giving a thorough knowledge of merchandising.

Care Renovation and Finishing of Textiles


The subject aims to inculcate an awareness about finishes and care techniques for different types of textiles.

Promotional Product Development


Products or services will not be sold unless people are told about them. So, in this subject the students will be introduced to the steps for creating an effective brand identity, and developing product insights, exploration processes of promotions and more.

  • The Online Fee payment is through ‘PayU’ payment gateway. PayU accepts payments through Credit Card, Debit Card, and Net Banking options. Online payment transaction charges and taxes will be applicable.
  • You need to log-in using your NAME (as registered with INIFD) and Application Form number. Please keep your Application Form Number readily available with you.
  • After Log-in, your Admission offer details will be displayed along with the fee to be paid. Once you click on CONFIRM PAYMENT, you will be directed to the PayU portal.
  • Candidates will be required to input their Email ID and Mobile number for receiving the Transaction Receipt. Candidates are advised to enter the Email ID and Mobile number as registered with INIFD while filling up the Application form.
  • After successful payment, you will receive a Transaction Receipt. Please keep this receipt safe for future use.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • Candidates submitting the fee Online for admission may please note that submission of fee does not confirm admission.
  • Candidates submitting the fee Online are required to submit the requisite documents along with a printed copy of the online fee receipt (acknowledgement) within 5 working days of payment. The documents may be submitted in person or by post.
  • Confirmation of admission shall be subject to the compliance of your credentials to the eligibility criteria laid in the current year’s prospectus and verification and/or submission of certificates/documents required by INIFD to the respective Campuses / Registrar’s office as per the notified timelines.
  • Candidates will be informed via email / telephonically regarding receipt or shortfall in the documents.

  • Non-receipt of documents shall lead to cancellation of admission. Please note that fee once paid is non-refundable.
