INIFD Designers Kavita Sharma & Asaboy Kazingmei showcased their Solo collections at Lakme Fashion Week Winter/ Festive 2012

INIFD Designers Kavita Sharma & Asaboy Kazingmei rocks as Gen Next Designers at Lakme Fashion Week Winter/ Festive 2012 on 3rd August 2012 at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. They presented their Solo designer collections on the same platform where the top Designers of our country are showcasing their collection. The garments designed by INIFDians Kavita and Asa were greatly appreciated by the media, buyers and glitterati.

INIFDian Kavita Sharma’s collection is inspired by the philosophy of Bhagavat Geeta that “Soul is birthless, eternal, imperishable and timeless and is never terminated when the body is terminated”. Her collection ‘It’s a beautiful life’ narrates the easy and free flowing lifestyle of the people of city beautiful in a very distinctive and classy manner.

INIFDian Asaboy Kazingmei showcased his designer collection “Immortal” inspired by thebeauty and the intricacies of the hand woven textiles of Tangkhul-naga tribe. His collection is dedicated to the never dying art form of his native state. Unconventional thread work and weaves of the fabrics were highlighted by the creativity of Asa.
